Dave has over 25 years of strategic planning experience working with blue chip companies on advertising, brand positioning, market segmentation, brand identity, retail marketing and NPD.
His commercial and strategic skill sets have been honed across a range of different client-side and agency planning roles. The first half of his career was forged on the client-side at SC Johnson, Nestle, Cadbury and Waterford Wedgwood. Moving over to the agency side he has worked across the full discipline spectrum including advertising, design and brand development.
He has extensive kids marketing experience having been the Planning Director of Logistix Kids, Europe’s leading kids and family marketing agency. During this time he was instrumental in developing the stand-alone toy division of Logistix Kids and worked on a number of consultancy projects for the likes of LEGO and Hasbro. Other kids and family accounts included Fritolay, Kellogg, Burger King, Masterfoods and Capri Sun.
Dave has been at advertising agency Brave for over 6 years and is the Planning Partner, working across all of Brave’s global clients, including Panasonic, Mattel, and John Frieda. In October 2017 Brave was acquired by Lagardere, one of the world’s largest sports and entertainment marketing agencies.
