How to get to ExCeL London

We want to make sure that getting to ExCeL London is as easy as possible. With London City Airport only 5 minutes away, three onsite DLR (Docklands Light Railway) stations and parking for 3,070 cars, ExCeL is easily accessible from any destination.

Travelling by Air

London has 6 international airports. We recommend using London City Airport, whenever possible. The airport is located 5 minutes from ExCeL London by taxi or 10 minutes by DLR (Docklands Light Railway). The airport offers 350 flights per day from over 40 international destinations.

Travelling by Rail, Underground (Metro) & DLR

London's main rail terminals are Charing Cross, Euston, Kings Cross / St Pancras International, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Paddington, Victoria and Waterloo. These are all connected to ExCeL London via the Underground (Metro) and DLR. Simply navigate to Canning Town Station on the DLR. ExCeL has 3 onsite DLR stations - Custom House, Prince Regent and Royal Victoria (all in Zone 3) and is capable of moving up to 36,000 passengers per hour. Custom House is best situated to access the main entrance for Brand Licensing Europe 2019. The DLR provides easy access to London Underground from the Jubilee Line which is just 2 stops from Custom House. The Jubilee Line is the only line on the Underground which connects to every other line including the Central Line which links West London with Bank and Stratford International for easy access to ExCeL London. Most journeys to and from Central London take a maximum of 35 minutes.

Travelling by Car

When driving to ExCeL London follow signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL. When you leave the M1 there is easy access from the M25, M11, A406 and A13. For Sat Nav purposes, we recommend using the postcode E16 1XL. If you are driving to ExCeL, there are 3,070 parking spaces within 5 minutes walk of the venue.

Travelling by Thames Clipper via the Emirates Cable Car

From central London you can also take the Thames Clipper commuter boat service to North Greenwich Pier, adjacent to the O2 Arena. From North Greenwich you can then take The Emirates Air Line (cable car), offering great views of Canary Wharf, which will take you across the river to ExCeL London.

Thames Clipper is the leading commuter boat service on the River Thames. Departures are available from all major piers, including North Greenwich for the O2, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Tower, London Bridge, Embankment and Waterloo, every 20 minutes during peak hours (from 6am to 1am).

Travelling by Bike

6 cycle racks are located at the West entrance taxi drop off point just underneath the Custom House DLR walkway. 54 cycle racks are located next to the East entrance underneath the stairway connecting Level 0 to Level 1. There is no charge to use the cycle racks.
