Planning your Visit

Ensure you bring proof of your COVID-19 status

All attendees (exhibitors and visitors) will need to show proof of their COVID-19 status to enter ExCeL London. Please present a text, email or pass to verify your COVID status is one
of the following:

  • Proof of a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival
  • Proof of negative lateral Flow Test or PCR result taken within 48hrs of arrival
  • Proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period

Plan your Travel

Ensure you have taken the time to read all of the latest Government, travel and testing guidance. You can find these here.

BLE has partnered with ExpressTest by Cignpost to facilitate all testing requirements for international attendees. Anyone needing to take a day 2 test to enter England will be able to purchase a ‘click and collect’ testing kit to be picked up at ExCeL. The tests can be self-administered in any location with results uploaded online. Those requiring a ‘fit to fly’ test for re-entry into their country of origin will also be able to benefit from an onsite service with tests carried out by Cignpost staff in secure private meeting rooms at the venue. The test booking service will open during the first week of November and information will be posted here and communicated through social media and via email.

Register ahead of time

Make sure you register before 16th November and print your badge before attending. Registering in advance is the best way to ensure you receive important event updates.

Stay at home if you have COVID symptoms

All guests are encouraged to check they are feeling well before attending our event. Ensure that you have no symptoms related to COVID-19 before travelling to the venue.

Book your travel testing requirements from today

We’ve partnered with ExpressTest by Cignpost to facilitate all testing requirements for all fully vaccinated international attendees directly at ExCeL London. From today, you can easily book all your Arrival Day 2 and Departure 'fit to fly' testing requirements.

During Your Visit

Cleaning and Hygiene

Enhanced Cleaning

We will undertake enhanced, deep cleaning before, during and after the event. All touch points, as well as seating in conference and meeting areas, are regularly wiped with chlorine-based cleaning fluid. All bathrooms are checked and maintained by a dedicated team of cleaners.

Waste Receptacles

We will collect and remove waste receptacles more frequently and disinfect them to a regular schedule.

Personal Hygiene

We are providing 26 hand sanitising stations throughout the event space in addition to those already onsite at the venue. We encourage all participants to regularly wash and disinfect their hands. The hand sanitiser stations will be monitored and topped up as required.

Please Wear a Mask

Masks are required. Medical exemptions will apply, as well as allowing for the removal of masks when eating, drinking and during 121 business meetings. We do ask that attendees be respectful of others during business meetings and wear a mask if their meeting partner requests it.

Air Filtration

Ventilation at ExCeL has been increased in line with latest CIBSE (Chartered Institution of
Building Services Engineers) guidance and recommendations.

  • Fresh air supply has been improved by increasing the size and speed of fans, as well as the installation of new pipes.
  • There is a regular maintenance programme in place, which ensures double the amount of statutory checks are carried out. Filters are replaced regularly.
  • CO2 monitors have been installed in client facing areas. These monitor air conditions and provide an indication of whether capacity should be reduced.

Physical Distancing

Reduced Contact Registration

We ask that all attendees print their badge before coming to the event to minimise contact points. Lanyards will be provided at the show entrances. Plastic badge wallets will not be provided.

Physical Contact

We encourage participants to avoid physical contact, such as handshakes and embraces, or the exchange of printed materials such as business cards and sales brochures, where possible. If in doubt, it’s always best to check with your fellow attendee on their levels of comfort.

Physical Distancing

We have increased the width of ALL aisles to 4m wide.

We have removed the largest conference theatre and will be hosting keynotes and screenings in the Platinum Suite, a dedicated conference space with plenty of room.

We have doubled the amount of seating available in the show halls.

Food & Beverage Stations

There will be four catering areas in the show hall including a health and wellbeing café and three bars. These are located on stand #s C131, C191, C210 & E131. In the most part, food will be pre-packaged.

Protect & Detect

H&S Officer

We will establish an Informa Hygiene and Safety Ambassador/Officer: a colleague from Informa’s operations team, trained in the subject matter and up to date on the latest official guidance, who is responsible for monitoring hygiene and cleaning, ensuring all measures are being followed.

First Aid

We will have a qualified first aider onsite. Participants will be asked not to attend if they are feeling unwell, and we will follow local guidance on detecting and managing anyone who displays symptoms of COVID-19.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

PPE items, such as masks will be used by participants and staff if appropriate, in line with local government and health authority advice. Within the event halls, we are asking everyone to follow our mask requirements listed in “Cleaning & Hygiene” section of this webpage.

Communication

Effective communication of all measures to all customers in ample time via as many means necessary – email, phone, SMS, website etc

Got any questions?

Key information around Covid-19 safety measures will be regularly communicated to all booked exhibitors and registered attendees. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team on [email protected] or call +44 (0)207 921 8166.
